Cancellation Policy

Group Classes

If a student is absent from a group class, the payment must still be made and a recording of the lesson will be sent instead. Please call the reception (0432109528) or email us (if outside of reception hours) to notify us of the absence. The recording will be available for two weeks. If a recording was not made due to a technical error, then a free make-up lesson will be provided. The make-up lesson will be a private lesson and half the time of the usual group class.

Private Lessons

A private lesson may be cancelled with no fees charged if at least 1 business day notice is provided to Avenue Tutoring reception (0432109528). If insufficient notice is provided, it must still be paid for and the lesson is forfeited. If you wish to reschedule the lesson, at least 1 business day notice must be provided.

 

 

Two on One

A two on one private lesson may be cancelled with no fees charged if at least 1 business day notice is provided to Avenue Tutoring reception (0432109528). If insufficient notice is provided, it must still be paid for and the lesson is forfeited. If you wish to reschedule the lesson, at least 1 business day notice must be provided. If only 1 out of the 2 students cancels, then the attending student must pay a private fee of $60/hour

When do I pay the cancellation fee?

Cancellation fees can be paid at the next lesson or anytime within the term during our reception hours (weekdays 3-7pm).
